A meditative, soul stirring, world music style cd with extraordinary arrangements by Jai Uttal, Geoffrey Gordon and Al Shackman recorded on Martha’s Vineyard. Songs range from Rita Glassman’s modern version of the ancient Hebrew prayer “SHEMA” (“Listen”) to Carly Simon’s “Let The River Run” produced by Carly’s brother and rocker Joe Satriani’s “I Believe” with an important message for our time.  Two of the songs on this cd landed on compilation cds (“SHEMA” and “LET THE RIVER RUN”); one on the Rhino Records label “Best of the Vineyard Sound,” and one on the Soundings of the Planet label “Sacred World Chants” with artist Deva Premal.
